sirdar patttern no. 9502 help!!! confused with pattern.

Hi i'm quite new to knitting and this is my 2nd knitting project (apart from numerous scarfs and baby blankets!!) I'm a little confused about what to do with the following instructions.
This shrug knits sideways starting with the back/shape right sleeve. I've casted on 30 sts as requested and knitted quite a way and i'm now on the shape back part. The instructions say to do the following:-
1st Row. inc in next st 1 times (shoulder edge), knit to last 4 sts, p4.
(the last 4 sts set border sts)
2nd Row. k4, purl to end
3rd Row. inc in 1st st 1 time, knit to end
4th Row. purl
(all straight forward but then says)
it says 1st to 4th row sets st-st with 4st border
keeping continity of 4st border and st-st proceed as follows

next row: inc in 1st st (o times for my size), knit to last 4 sts, p4.
next row: k4 purl to end.
i get this also but then i'm totally confused over the next part.
its says work 29 row inc 1 st at shoulder edge only as before in 1st and every follow 4th row.
so do i know just keep repeating the last 2 row (inc in 1st st. knit to last 4, p4 / then k4 purl to end.
or do i keep repeating the last 6 rows until i've knitted 29 rows in total and inc every 1st row and then every 4th following row????
Please can anyone help me??

When it refers to 'inc 1 st at shoulder edge only as before', it's referring to the increase sts you did back on row 3 (3rd Row. inc in 1st st 1 time, knit to end). So on this new 3rd row you do the inc at beg of the row, then work 3 more rows (purl, knit, purl) and on the 4th row, increase again.
