Angry knitters take on the Olympics

Angry knitters, including Ravelry members, have flooded the Olympic's Facebook page in protest over their snide comments about knitters.

WOW - hadn't heard anything about this ! It's crazy the things organizations (USOC not Ravelry) find to get upset about.

Yup, that happened a week or so ago. The committee apologized, but it was also not well accepted due to the wording. It's pretty much dying down now.

I see their point with copyright and all that. But they could have been more sensitive in their comments about knitters. They picked the wrong forum to mess with. Ravelry just signed up their 2,000,000th member.
