how do you convert a pattern for straight needles with wrong sides to a circular needles?

There are a few things to do in general. Here's a beginning:
The stitch pattern will change in the round. Instead of knitting every row for garter st, you'll alternate knit rows and purl rows. For stockinette, you can knit every row in the round.:
If there's a more complicated pattern stitch, you would change the wrong side row from knits to purls and purls to knits and read the directions for the wrong side row in reverse. It sounds more complicated than it is. The nice thing is that the outside or public side of the piece is facing you all the time so it's easy to make sure you're doing things correctly.

Okay here's a ravelry link. What way do you want to change it to be knit the round?

The rows with the cable crosses will be the 'RS' rows and you just leave them as is; for the 'WS' rows knit the sts as they appear. That is - if the stitch looks like a knit, knit it, if it looks like a purl, purl it. The ribbed part would be the same. Though it looks to me as if the cable pockets are knit as separate squares and sewn onto the ribbed body.
