How do you modify the baby converse knitting pattern to make it 0-3 months size?

You might be able to use smaller needles and thinner yarn. Or you could make it shorter - most of the difference in sizes is in the length of the foot. Take a look at this foot sizing chart for measurements, the 7-9 lb baby is for a newborn. They grow so fast though, that I'd do the 3-6 mo size anyway.

Yeah, mine were quite large. I used worsted so I think finer yarn might do it. Or alter the pattern. I couldn't tell you how it's been too long.
