Knit 2 Purl 4

Question.....


If my instructions say Knit 2 Purl 4 do I knit 2 stitches and purl 4 stitches on one row?

or Knit 2 rows and Purl 4 rows??

Knit 2, purl 4 is knit 2 stitches and then purl 4 stitches. If the pattern wants that repeated across the row, it will usually say, Repeat across the row or use asterisks to indicate the repeat. If the pattern wanted rows, it would say knit 2 rows and purl 4 rows.
