Dyeing cotton yarn

Anyone? Anyone have any ideas, my friend gave me some white cotton yarn and I want to dye it blue

You will need dye conducive for cellulose fibers. You can order some from Dharma Trading.

Or you can get some Rit dye from the local store. Rit is a combination of dyes for both cellulose & protein fibers so there is a LOT of left over dye in the dye pot. When you rinse your yarn, be sure to rinse until clear!
