help! First Raglan pattern
This is the first time I am doing a raglan sweater. The pattern says:knit to one st before marker, m1,k2,m1 How do I k2 if i only have one st on? Do I make 1, knit 1, pass over the marker, knit 1 and then make 1? Hopefully someone can help me.

There's another stitch on the other side of the marker. Most patterns don't tell you to slip the marker, but you always do. They're just there to show you where to do the increase and this pattern just ignores them in knitting the sts. Think of it as "knit to 1 st before marker, m1, k1, sm, k1, m1" which is the same thing - you do 2 knits between the increases. It's less wordy to say 'k2' rather than 'k1, sm k1'.

Thanks Suzeeq, I was confused as to the k2. I didn't know if I was supposed to M1,k1,sm,k1,m1 or do the k2 as a kfb. Thanks for your help!
