Picking up moss row stitches

Hey everyone.

I'm making an Aran sweater. My first sweater...ever!

Anyway, I'm picking up stitches to make the sleeves, and the rows all have been moss stitched.

I have no clue how to pick up row stitches that end in moss.

Help please.

Same way you pick them up when they're stockinette or garter. Insert the needle in between the edge stitch and the next one in.

You don't have to do anything special to pick up in moss st. Just pick up as usual in either knit or purl sts for whatever number of sts you need. That's certainly an adventure, making your first sweater an Aran. Enjoy knitting it, they're great fun to do.
