Red Cowl
I've been knitting Christmas presents and the only one I can get to show up well on my computer camera is this red cowl.
This cowl is really easy to make and I love the red colour. I've made it for my daughter-in-law once removed and she happens to love red. I think red loves her too...
IT is purl 4 rounds, knit 4 rounds... simple.
I just cast on using my old favourite two needles...
The yarn is Charisma and I used larger needles than the ball calls for to make it very soft and pliable.
I'm going to try to download the picture now.
Hope you like it...!

I do love how it turned out! It's a really nice size and fit! Not too skimpy, not too big! Perfection!

Thank you very much for posting such nice things. I'm so glad you all liked it! Red is not a colour I've knit much of before... but I think that's about to change.
Love the feel of this cowl... so soft...
Am now in the middle of making another one in a varigated colour, a little smaller, for my youngest granddaughter. It is in pinks that turn to brown. I think she will like it and will wear it when her stepmother wears hers.

Absolutely it is just the right size! How long is it? A guesstimate or just laid flat and measure half the length would be great, then I'll put your stitch pattern to use, as long as you don't mind my attempting to imitate your work. Please?
