A question on this pattern

I am using this pattern stitch Knitted Chevron Pattern Stitch to knit a baby blanket. Rows 1& 3 are purled , Rows 2 &4 are the same so I my question is this:K1,KFB,K4, SSK,K2tog,K4*KFB, KFB, K4, SSK, K2tog, K4*. I understand that the items inside the *-* are the repeating across but my question is do I start every row of 2 and 4 with the K1,KFB, K4, SSK, K2tog K4 before the *?

Yes, start out with the first sts, then repeat the ones between the *s to the end of both rows.
