Beginner question
Hi

I'm knitting a hat and I got stuck with this row that says "Row 3 K1*k into the horizontal strand btwn the stitches on the right and the left needles(without twisting the stitch) k1." can some one please help me?

Try this video, just don't knit through the back loop as she does. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f7oABJLKZtw Not twisting it probably is part of the stitch pattern you're creating on your hat.

If you're knitting into the strand between the stitches it's an increase.

Your pattern says NOT to twist though so go into the stitch like the video shows and then knit through the front normally. It will create a small hole that will be decorative.

What are you making? It would help to have a link so we can see the pattern and a picture.
