Only the directions in parentheses are repeated across the row.
Love the color combination you chose. What yarn were you using?

I am doing a similar pattern as a border on an afghan. It is a multiple of 4 + 3 sts.
Row 1 (k3,p1) to last 3 sts, k3
Row 2 k1,p1 (k3p1) to last st. k1
This pattern is reversible.
