
¡Muchas gracias! for all your nice compliments! Re: the red&white sweater, I think this is how one starts designing patterns. The pullover pattern is a perfectly plain, same-front-and-back crewneck. I just reserved enough stitches in the front (starting right at the top of the crewneck ribbing) for the braided panel, and then I worked in the red until it began to run short, then "tapered" into the white (...and kept running out of all the bits of white I had!

). Now, I have a pattern for a crewneck with cable panel and two color patterning. Now, I am getting really ambitious - I have lots of patterns for Scandinavian Fair Isle sweaters and have just converted one to be knitted top-down and am tackling that!
