don't know to do with directions given
I am doing a lace pattern sweater. I am to the point where front and back are complete and it is telling me. I have three sections on holders, the back and the two shoulder parts of the front. "Place back and front with right sides tog. K1 st from back and 1 st from front shoulder tog. then bind off across 12 sts on each shoulder.

Welcome to KH. This is a three needle bind off. It's much nicer than sewing a seam IMO. I think you'll be pleased with the result.

I can't get posting the links to work. Hover over the Free Videos button then click Binding Off. Scroll down the page and you'll find videos for English and Continental styles.
