I'm finishing up a knitted Carolinian Shawl, using Bernat Mosaic yarn,

Carolinian Shawl Half 3 by Shandeh, on Flickr
and I've almost completed a crocheted Red Friday Scarf as well, using some vintage yarn from my stash.

I'm also working on several other projects (as usual), which you can see on my Ravelry page.
Love that blue and green yarn!!!!

Thanks! The Carolinian Shawl is actually VERY EASY. Mostly garter stitch. And the crochet scarf is simple too. That's why I love working for Bernat. Their patterns are usually so simple to follow. Of course, occasionally they design a few that make me scratch my head a bit. But, I refuse to let a pattern defeat me.

I don't think I'm particularly photogenic, but I managed to get a good picture of me with my knitting so I'm definitely willing to share it with the internet.

Cool! Are you ready to start the duplicate stitch design on your squares?

Here are some simple charts to use for the letters and numbers.

And here is a wonderful video I found about how to do duplicate stitch embroidery on stockinette fabric:

Not far, I'm in north Florida. I'm closer to the beach, but all my friends know that I'm a mountain girl in my DNA.
