Hmmm.....what do people do with the one sock when they do succumb.
Lots of my piano students like wearing mismatched funky socks. I think it's a "thing to do" now-adays. So, those single socks could be used for that!

Make increases on the cuff till you've got hat size? Then it can be a true stocking cap! Hmmm...

Two circs is my favorite method...sooo easy and no shifting of needles or stitches!!
