comparable yarns

I have a pattern by Wendy, it calls for Wendy's precious moments yarn, I would like to know what is compatable because this yarn is no longer available. It calls for 20 sts and 28 rows to 4 inches on size 2-41/2 mm can you help? the yarn is 78% acrylic and 22% nylon, thank you very much.

There are plenty of yarns in that weight class. Are you looking for a nubby yarn like the Wendy PM or just a similar weight? Do you want to stay with acrylic yarn?

I would like the nubby yarn and I would like to stay with the acrylic, the look of the sweater would be better with the nubby, thank you, sincerely, Charlotte
