Knitting Winter Mirage Shwal
Knitting Paradise Forums member has a workshop for lace knitting and the members taking it are knitting either a scarf , stole or shawl using a pattern called Winter Mirage by Dragonflylace. This person designed it. So Far I have knitted one of the edges and transferred that to waste yarn and I am up to row 10 of the second edge. When I get to row 33 I then continue on to the body of the shawl. When I reach the last row of the body I will Kitchener stitch the 1st edge on to it to complete it. It has been a slow going because I am using a sport weight baby alpaca on size 8 needles to get the lacy look. I couldn't get my laceweight yarn to cooperate.

Thanks for bringing us up-to-date on your 2013 project! Sounds interesting! I'll check Ravelry and see if it's also in their data base!

Sounds like fun and the baby alpaca must be lovely. I'm looking forward to seeing your finished shawl.
