Pattern calls for 4" of K1P1 rib on DP needles - no problem. Then it says: Leg opening: Working
back and forth in rows, cont in 1×1
rib for 3 (31⁄2, 4, 41⁄2, 5)" more—piece
measures 6 (71⁄2, 9, 101⁄2, 12)" from toe.

How do I go from working circular to working back & forth? Do I need to wrap & turn?

Thanks!

No W&T, just turn, you're going to make an opening rather than doing joined knitting. So at the end of the round, just turn and work in the ribbing back around to the beg of round. Turn again and work another row.
