Please explain: Using 2 dpn work as follows. k4,yf,sl3,turn.
Yarn us in middle of row if I read this right, then what does"turn" mean?

Yes, that's right, the yarn is in the middle of a row. Turn means to turn your work just as you would at the end of a row and work back along the sts you've just knit. Don't worry about the unworked sts on the left needle. You'll get to them later in the pattern.
