easy pattern
I just finished my fingerless gloves! I cant think of anything in specific to make so does anyone have an easy cool pattern? I would prefer that it is free but I dont mind purchasing a pattern. If you dont have a pattern i would enjoy suggestions for colors
Thanks,
knitwit61015

There are thousands of patterns. It would be easier if you had some idea. So...sweater, scarf, hat, cup cozy, baby blanket, etc...

Do you have yarn? If not what kind do you prefer? Wool, acrylic, cotton?

Can you knit in the round? Do you have circular needles?

Tonight I need a mindless knit so I started Grandma's Favorite Dishcloth. I think that's what it's called, it's knit on the diagonal. It'll fill the space until I figure out what's next.

I just made one of those, too! Only I do my own version.

What about doing a cowl? It's not as long as a scarf (so you probably won't get bored stiff with it), and you can do some easy (or more complicated) lace if you want to try that.

You can make cowls huge or just small enough to fit over your head, and you can either make them in the round or a long rectangle with buttons at one end to complete the circle. They are definitely fun and a quick knit. I just finished one using this pattern.

There are some other, non-lacy patterns for cowls, too. But my general advice for finding what's next to knit is to that you look up random categories of patterns on Ravelry. If that doesn't inspire you to make SOMETHING, nothing will!
