Anyone knit the Petal Bib? Help
I am needing help understanding the directions for the Petal Bib from
http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/petal-bib. On page 57 where you start the short rows. I do not understand if I knit the next 25 rows or purl. I am not sure if I finish or if I need to go back over the short rows I just did? I am so confused that this question is probably confusing. LOL

Have you seen the Errata for the pattern and does it apply to what you're working on now? It looks like the pattern is done in stockinette so you'd continue in pattern and knit the knit side and purl the purl side. I may not be understanding what you want to know and if not, sorry for being unhelpful. You can post a few lines from the pattern, maybe the row before and this one that's confusing you anyhow.

GG, thanks for the errata link. I don't have the pattern but with short rows, you want to follow each direction to turn and complete the row which will take you back over the stitches just worked. As GG mentioned, if it's a knit row, knit the stitches; if it's a purl row, purl them. Usually at some point in the pattern, you begin picking up and working the stitches at the turn for the short rows. Maybe it would be easier if you quote the line or two (not the whole pattern) that are confusing you and we can all try to help?

Okay here are the directions that I'm having problems with. Short row 1 knit 41 on RS wrap next stitch. turn pearl 16 on wrong side wrap next stitch turn 25 stitches remain un worked at the end of the needle.

What's the next line in the pattern, after 25 sts remain unworked? This part tells you that after you knit 41 sts on RS, W&T, purl 16 on the WS, W&T you'll have 25 sts you've not worked. What to do next depends on what the pattern says.
