springtime bandit
Hello. I've knit the springtime bandit before, and felt it was a little too small. Any suggestions on how to make it bigger without losing the definition of the pattern? I'm thinking purl a row between each row on the edge chart?

Here's the pattern link for reference:

Thanks,
Jessica

I don't know about the edge chart idea. Are you planning to use that size yarn, or could you talk yourself into something just a little larger, or something that would put up with a slightly bigger needle size? I don't mean full-on chunky weight, I mean a slightly thicker...oh, maybe Aran weight.

I like Becky's idea for increasing the size just a bit and in proportion. If you're set on using the same yarn you could add in an extra chart repeat although that would make the scarf substantially larger.
