Suggestions for an eyelet or something?
I am knitting a basic babies jumper pattern from bottom to top. CO 164 stitches. Can anyone recommend an eyelet pattern or something I can do near the bottom instead of just stockinette stitch. I am knitting in the round.
Thank you.

Well to create eyelets you can *k2tog, YO* and repeat from * across. Or whatever combination you choose. Just have one k2tog for each YO to keep the same stitch count.

Here's a little variation on the same eyelet stitch border that Jan mentioned. It would be cute on a sweater or a skirt.
