Ok guys. Some of you may know I'm making Toasty

Ok Im supposed to have 12 stitches on needle 1 and needle 2 and 10 on needle 3. Needle one is the needle I'm supposed to start the round with, right? well idiot here counted needle 3 as needle 1....Ive knitted 5 inch of this already
can i slip stitches so the RIGHT needles have the right aount of stitches or will it ruin things?

If you read through the pattern you'll see that there are really no specific directions for the different needles. So you can continue with the sts divided as you have them or you can slip them or knit them in a different arrangement. It's not going to matter.
Cute pattern!

Actually, it doesn't matter, not even for the thumb:
"Knit 4, slip next 4 stitches to a piece of waste yarn, CO 4 stitches using the backward loop method, knit to end."
Whether you have 10 or 12sts on needle one won't matter. The numbers given are just to ensure a somewhat even distribution of sts.
