M1, and inc?
This is over 24 sts. My pattern says p4, *M1(right slanting), Inc 2 , M1 (left slanting),* p3, 2/2 RPC, 2/2 LPC, p3 work from*to* once, p4 and I'll have 32 after. I always come out with two extra i don't know what I'm doing wrong.

This is over 24 sts...
P4 = 1-4
*M1R = (Inc 1)
Inc 2 = 5 (Inc 2)
M1L* = (Inc 1)
P3 = 6-8
2/2 RPC = 9-12
2/2 LPC = 13-16
P3 = 17-19
*M1R = (Inc 1)
Inc 2 = 20 (Inc 2)
M1L* = (Inc 1)
P4 = 21-24
End with 32 sts (24 +8inc).

Inc 2 is a double increase from a single stitch.

Are you supposed to end with 30 stitches? Could you post the rows before and after this row? Do you have a link to the pattern?

Sorry, I didn't read your post quite right. You should end up with 32, to get there:

P4 = 4 sts
m1, inc 2, m1 = 5 sts
p3, 2/2, 2/2, p3 = 14 sts
m1, inc 2, m1 = 5 sts
p4 = 4 sts

4 + 5 + 14 + 5 + 4 = 32 sts

purl 4
m1, knit front, back and front of next stitch, m1
p3, 4st rpc, 4 st lpc, p3
m1, knit front, back and front of next stitch, m1
purl 4

There are other ways to inc 2, for example k, yo, and k in same stitch

HTH
