I hear you about coming home with the same colored yarn all the time! When I look at other people's stash (you know, those that don't have this problem), I'm always amazed at how colorful it is. Also, I look at those stash projects that have every color under the rainbow in them and wonder why I can't do the same thing with my stash. Well, it's because I never buy those "other" colors! DUH!

That's so true. I always find nice patterns with lots of colors, but when I buy yarn for them I come home with gray, brown or dark red..
:(

I love the frogging cartoon. I've learned that lesson, for sure. Thanks very much for the good laughs.

I have other colors. I didn't buy them, but I do have them. Frog after it's done? Not me! Not today anyhow.

I too tend to like the same colors and while it's nice to have more than one blue sweater, scarf etc. it does get a bit redundant after while.
My last 2 yarn shopping trips I made myself stop and mentally review what I already have in my stash and purchase yarn colors I don't already have, yet ones I know I will wear. Yeah I still did get a blue but it's lighter than what I already had so will make a great summer something.
