Pattern Confusion
Hey all!
I just recently taught myself knitting and am still struggling with interpreting some of the lingo in the pattern, i just joined a seam and am prepping an end for attaching another piece and the instructions state,
" Fold 1 along top edge to WS; using tn and yarn, sl st in place."

I haven't the faintest idea of what that means, help please!!

Hi and welcome to KH!
I'm not sure about "fold 1" either. See if there's an explanation at the beginning of the pattern or towards the end, perhaps under finishing. You're making a hem and slip stitching it in place with yarn and a tapistry needle but whether fold 1 means one row or something else isn't clear.
What is it that you're making? Can you give us a pattern link or the name of the pattern?

Thanks for the link. Cute bag or backpack, whatever you're going to use it for. "Fold 1" is "Fold 1 inch"
Fold 1 along top edge to WS; using tn and yarn, sl st in place.
It is a hem to finish off the top edge.
We'd love to see a photo of your finished project. Good luck with the last few steps.
