I have never heard of such a thing. What is the name of the project you're working on? So far I've found for W:

WS
WYIB
WYIF

Also, knitWise purlWise

WON
WRN

I've never heard of that either. Can we have a pattern name and link?

It is a the tardis from doctor who, a travel mug tardis cozie to be exact.

The abbreviation means: Knit one WHITE (K1W) and Knit one Blue (K1BL)

Sigh, my only excuse? I was reallllly tired and just plain overthought it!! Sorry guys and thanks for trying to come to my rescue!!
