So I'm making dish clothes... lots of them. I've done a few Grandmothers favorite, and Double Bump... I'm looking for your faves, to give them a shot! I've been through tons of patterns, but wanted input from you all
The only difference between an experienced knitter and new knitter is that the experienced knitter makes bigger mistakes faster. Be bold; there are no terrible consequences in knitting.
Blocks in Blocks Afgan for Taz
Pet snuggles for charity
BonBons fingerless mitts for Sarah
Dorm socks for Skye-finished
Dallas Cowboys Man Hat for John-finished
and as always, dish cloths.
ArtLady posted photos of mitered square things she's done, which I think included an afghan. They have lots of possibilities for making really interesting pieces. When I was told they're easy I thought, yeah, right, but they really are. Have fun. I'm thinking of interesting ways to use them. You'll probably come up with lots of ideas, I'd love if you shared them.
Happiness is catching that dropped stitch while it's still fixable..
That's the little secret about slip stitch patterns. You only knit with one color at a time but the finished piece looks much more complicated. Enjoy your different patterns, it's great experience and fun.
