update on hubby's blanket
done part 2 of my husband's knitted blanket. I'm also done 10 rows on part 3. I'm doing, like I said k1, p1. Sorry... K1,p1 rib. With the smaller needles that I am using, it makes it look like a stockinette stitch on both sides. Very nice!!

Are you making 3 panels to seam together? It's great that it's coming along so well for you. Post a photo if you can and want to.

1x1 ribbing will look like st st, as you mentioned...but it will be much smooshier and cozy and thicker than plain old st st! Sounds divine! I admire your fortitude in doing 1x1 ribbing for such a large project! Your stick-to-it-iveness is a great compliment to your husband, how much you love him, to carry on to the end!

This is excellant. I hope we'll get to see the finished blanket. Are you still planning to crochet the parts together?

You actually inspired me to start my own 1x1 rib blanket. It's 300 stitches wide. It's going to take forever, but I honestly love the mindlessness of the pattern.
