I think the mesh pattern would look better in a solid color or if the color changes were less frequent or something. Maybe it''s just me - I think a solid color would show off MoniDew's pattern better. I look forward to using it.

Monica, isn't there an alternate cast on rather than magic loop? Couldn't we cast on 8 on two circs, 4 stitches each, and work in the round like that?
I hate magic loop.

i'd expect you can, i don't own dpns, and i changed my fingerless mittens from dpns to 2 circs

I used 2 circs and a Turkish cast on then started knitting w/one long circ for ML. I've been wanting to try the Turkish cat on since Jan mentioned it and this was the perfect opportunity.

I haven't used ML but a few times, the last time I did I found myself a bit annoyed with it. How do you find it different from using two circulars? I saw there was a video on KH but haven't tried it out yet.

I started the bag using Peaches & Creme cotton. Unfortunately, I already goofed. I'm going to have to frog back about four rows, I think. Here's what I've done (before frogging). I used the Emily Ocker CO.
