I understand the round knitting, but I don't understand how to do a thumb without someone visually showing me. I will try the sites, thank you.

Here's the first three of a series of videos for making mitts with magic loop. The pattern used has more shaping to it and only uses knitting in the round but it makes a nicer mitt in the end.

I feel stupid
So my husband just showed me that I have a patt for women's fingerless gloves in a knitting book that I don't even use... which is why I never looked in it. I still however would like if I could get help with how to make partial fingers for knuckle gloves and how to actually attach them to the gloves. Oh, also I have no way to get on a computer so I cannot view videos from any site unfortunately.
