Are you dropping this loop from the left needle? When you knit into the stitch below, you drop the stitch above, creating an elongated stitch.

If you knit the stitch above, you will end up with extra stitches.

Sleepless the world of knitting this is definitely familiar territory I even dream of knitting. Who me? I'm not obsessed

I would love to see this stitch close up, I magnified the image on my computer but it was blurred too much. Ah, the of stitches.

Oh, Claire, I do the same kind of obsessing. Even than I have to say, "Step away from the needles and go to sleep."

KRoss, K1, s2, k1, p2sso, (k1 yfwd, k1, yfwd, k1) into next st one row below, s3, k2tog p3sso.
Are you slipping the 2 sts over the k1 and off the right needle and at the end, slipping the 3 sts over the k2tog and off the right needle?
