How Jayne got his hat

I don't know which episode it was, but the crew of Serenity was somewhere to collect their mail. Jayne got a package from Mom and inside was the hat. He popped it on his head and pretty much dared anyone to say anything about it. I might have to watch the whole series again just to see what was said. Wouldn't that be just awful?

Jayne's mother sends him the hat. He opens the box and says, "how's she sit? Cunning, heh." or something like that, anyway. Kaylee says that it might be the cutest hat ever. The whole scene takes place in the episode where Mal and Zoe receive an extremely large container for delivery, but I'm not going to give away any more of the plot. I'm going to make everyone watch the show instead. :-).

For the curious, we are talking about a short lived but much beloved show called Firefly.it was followed up by a movie called Serenity. Watch both on Netflix free. They're well worth it for scifi fans. It's dark and quirky and hilariously funny.

I finally found it!

"A man walks down the street in that hat, people know he's not afraid of anything."

Firefly!

It was stupidly canceled and so the loose ends were tied up (pfft... whatevs, they need to bring it back!) with the movie Serenity.

Lauren - I just noticed that you are located in Tulsa, OK! Have we ever met in real life? I live in nearby Broken Arrow. WOW! I'm a little nonplussed to find another knitter Browncoat so close by! Hope we run into each other some day soon.
