shape instep of booties
Hi

I'm a new knitter but don't know what to do. Here are the instructions : with right side facing, rejoin yarn at base of instep , knit up 11 sts up first side of instep , k10 instep sts , knit up 11 sts down second side of instep , knit to end

Please help. This is for my nephew who will be arriving in 2 weeks.

Can you give a link to the pattern? That helps a lot.

Welcome th Knitting Help!
Yes, a pattern lilnk is always helpful or even a pattern name.
You should be ablt to lay these booties out on a table like an inverted T with the right side or outside of the bootie facing you. You want to re-join the yarn where the crossbar of the T meets the vertical leg and start picking up 11sts along the side of the instep (that's along the ends of the rows you've just knit), then knit across the sts at the end of the instep, pick up 11sts along the other side of the instep and then knit to the end of the row. You'll now have all the stitches from the cuff and the body of the bootie on the needle.
