Fiber Trends felted clogs
What yarn do you use to make these?
My favorite felting yarn of all time is Cascade 220, it is predictable in his shrinkage, I like the way it feels before and after, love the colors and the price is ok. It turns out the pattern was originally written for a "heavier" yarn that won't shrink as much. I found this out after blowing a lot of money making a large pair for the hubs. I make them for kids all the time and they fit fine, guess w/ the bigger size the loss was more obvious. I need to make him another pair and want to make sure I get the yarn right this time.

I've made mine with Cascade 220 as well and had good results.

I made mine with Ella Rae Classic and Manos del Uraguay Maxima. They were my first pair so I don't have anything to compare with though.

When asking questions ALWAYS post the name and a link for the pattern if you have it.

This is one of my favorite patterns. I, too, prefer Cascade 220 for felting projects. I have also used KP's Wool of the Andes and Paton's Classic. I haven't had a problem with sizing.
