GG, that is too funny! That girl is adorable! BTW, I THINK I am a fairly loose knitter, and am always working on it, but I don't have any frame of reference, as I have no knitting friends close by....poor me!

Same here. I figure if I need a smaller needle than the label says to make the gauge shown then I'll be loose. If I need a smaller needle than I did before, I know I'm looser than I was.

The only difference between an experienced knitter and new knitter is that the experienced knitter makes bigger mistakes faster. Be bold; there are no terrible consequences in knitting.

DH in bed, still camping out in the living room. This was so worth pulling out the headphones for.

I've done a lot of research about interchangeable knitting needles and have written a little guide. There's reviews of the various sets of needles (though not all of them, I'm trying to work with as many as possible) including a comparison chart. Hope this helps!

I'd love to read your interchangeable needle comparison, but I'm lost in your website. Nothing lands right. I clicked on your link above, but it lands in the wrong place. Finally, the page changes or morphs, and there's a page on the general subject, but there's still no comparison. Then I have to click on the first in a long list on the (I think) subject, and first on this list is INTRODUCTION....but that link goes absolutely nowhere readable. The page is sorta botched.

I'm trying to follow your links using my Android smartphone using my Opera browser.

Is your website only accessible from a PC?

Thank you so much for letting me know! I've been meaning to fix the mobile experience and just changed it right now so that you can view the site in its entirety. So sorry for the inconvenience. Let me know if it works for you.

I can get to the page okay, but half the page is ads and links.
