Hi Judy! So nice to see you here again! I've missed you, and your wonderful work, a lot! This crib blanket is yet another masterpiece of knitting, as is all of your work! Very resourceful, too! Here we are, knitting for great-grandchildren! Where does the time go?

Thanks for the info about the books. I just placed a hold on Barbara Walker's Mosaic Knitting at the library.

Thanks, Claire, I'll try to remember. I don't know when it will be available here in Podunk, WA. LOL I found there are a few books about knitting available for ereaders even.

I have Barbara Walker's 'A Second Treasury of Knitting Patterns' and was looking through it last night. It has a section on mosaic knitting, 41 patterns. I'll take a closer look at them a little later, but most look like patterns that can be used as borders, et al.
