Truthfully, there is no pattern. It's just a simple cap, started at the center top. So for this, any basic cap pattern would do. And because all these kids are different sizes (ages 14 years to 9 months) I just keep increasing until I hit the crown width about right. Then I work a few rows for the goggles band, and switch back to the main color. Then, knit straight for the cap depth. I changed colors again with I got to the ribbing, which I used to indicate the overalls of the minion guys. Then add earflaps, which could also be taken from a basic cap pattern. (I actually just used 1/4 of the total stitches. 1/4 cast off, 1/4 earflap, another 1/4 cast off, and the final 1/4 earflap.) The earflaps kind of hint at the legs of the pants, too.
Then eyeballs. The eyeballs are started at the center as well, and I change color every two rows for pupil, iris, whites, and the outer rim of the google(s). I stitched them on by hand at the end, when I was weaving in the ends. I also stitched on a mouth and hair (or make a very loose pompom for the purple guys)
The entire thing is improvised as I go. I'm very dangerous that way. (I really should come with a warning label. I've never used a pattern. I steel an idea, then figure it out as I go along.)
I hope this gives you a starting point for making your own. Let me know if you need more tricks/tips, and I'll be happy to help.
