FO- Norby
Just finished Norby. It was made for a store sample for our new yarn store! The pattern and yarn was given to me by the store manager for this.

I knit loose so I used a smaller needle size (3 instead of 4). Also knit the border flat then seamed it since it was garter. Otherwise I followed the pattern.

Yarn- Anzula Luxury Fibers
Pattern- Norby

Very nice hat! I like your attention to detail, knitting it flat and then seaming it to avoid a jog.

How do you like your new yarn shop?

I actually did the border flat to avoid purling. That was dumb in this case because the entire pattern has some garter.

The new yarn store opens on Saturday, but it should be great. only a mile from me, too! Now our group will have a place to knit on Tuesday and Friday. Yay! We've been together for probably 5-6 yrs. This will be the third yarn store because the other two closed. And yes, we do knit/spin twice a week! Well, Tuesday is spinning, but it's some of the same group so a few knitters crashed the party. Hopefully this new store won't mind.

Awww, that is one cute hat, Jan! I assume it's child-size? Not baby-size? Anyway, very pretty little hat!

Edited to add: I found the pattern on Ravelry. The hat does look to be adult-size! Norby

It's adult size and very slouchy. Assuming I get it back at so epoint in wearable condition...I'm not sure I'd wear it. I'm not a hat person, but I live to make them!

Thanks all!

Nice hat! How'd you like the yarn? They could give you yarn for hats as often as they want!
