A cry for help
Hi everyone. I am beryl in Wales and I have a question for the expert knitters.
I have been knitting for a while on a machine, standard gauge, but always hit upon the problem of when knitting the neck shaping in pattern, returning to the second half and getting it to match the first side. If I am slip stitching, I make a note of the pattern row, lock the pattern on the noted row and ?? do I go across with pattern row selected on machine and part buttons in? with wool in ?
I would appreciate some help. Fair Isle is another one I slip up on. Thank you so much beryl

I'm not sure if there are any machine knitters here since this is primarily a hand knitting forum.

When asking questions ALWAYS post the name and a link for the pattern if you have it.

Yes, it seems there are very few machine knitters here. Youmight try these sites. The first site links to Ravelry which is free to join.
