Need help fast!
Okay - it is a friends bday coming up and they asked for me to knit them something. I am getting them a book - but I cant forget about the knitted item she wanted. I can only cast on, knit, purl and cast off.
Also I only have 5 days - what shall I do. Please answer fast and thanks in advance

Five days? I think an IOU is in order. Meanwhile, get some fat yarn and big needles, cast on for the size you want it to be and knit every row. Garter stitch (every row is knitted) makes a great blanket. When you get to the length you want, learn to bind off.

Boy that's a tall order! How about face cloths, or wash cloths? Usually about 6" square and knitted from cotton or a cotton mix.

These are garter stitch and knit flat.
