Sorry, I forgot to include which order the pictures are in. They are to be read from left to right.
Pix# 1 This is the YO
Pix# 2 This is the K1
Pix# 3 This is the K1 tbl
Pix# 4 This is after I have completed k1, k1 tbl twice
Pix# 5 This is after I have completed p1

The photos do help. I wonder if the problem is the yarn over on the previous row? The yarn over should run from just below the sts on the right needle to the sts on the left needle. It looks a little like the yo is only connected to the sts near the right needle?
(btw, I don't think it's causing your problem but the original post gave the pattern as (k1, k1tbl) twice.)
