It looks wonderful - nice knitting!

Does the pattern have a name, or is it one of those patterns that just lie around and one forgets where it comes from... I've got some of those

I am not sure about the differences between a shrug and a bolero, but am I correct in assuming this garnment has long sleeves and covers the shoulder blades (but not lower)? I do wonder how the feather-and-fan-pattern looks while wearing it - it goes horizontal over the back, right?!

The shrug was adapted from this pattern Lace Bolero. Because you knit it in a rectangle, you can use almost any type of stitch pattern Imagine the possibilities
