It's a nice pattern. Did you notice that it calls for 16 balls of Rowan yarn? At the cheapest ebay price, that comes to over $100?!

I saw, but I usually never follow yarn suggestions. My husband bought me bags of yarn, so I have no choice but to use what I have. I know outcome will be different, but I'm willing to try anyway.

That's going to be nice. I just learnt cables myself this year, I'm currently making a bag and a pair of socks with the new knowledge. Next year it's lace!

Nice pattern. Your colorful, cheerful yarn should make for an interesting FO. I didn't look, as Ingrid did, at the yarn and prices but when I read what she wrote - ! OMG who do they think can afford a cushion at that price.

I think that's going to work out beautifully with the yarn you have chosen. With a lot of cable patterns I have seen, they work out best with a solid color yarn. This is a cable pattern that works really well with a variegated yarn, more of a textural stitch. I love what I have seen thus far and look forward to seeing your finished project!
