Thank you, Jan. Have you considered cotton socks? Shine Sport Yarn As I recall it's wool that bothers you.

Beautiful socks and a great gift. I love the wide stripes of color is this yarn.

Thank you. Yeah, I know. I wanted pics of sox and slippers I've made for myself. It's really best to have someone else behind the camera. Even my SIL who would never complain about a gift but might never use it wants me to make him some. My knitting ain't perfect and would never win a prize in a contest but I've already got the best prize of all in that pic and quote.
