WIP: Baby Moc-A-Socs
I just fell in love with these booties as soon as I saw them

For some seriously cute baby boy goodness, you just can't beat this Bekah Knits' pattern. For the moccasin, I had to go down from the recommended sport weight yarn to fingering yarn to get gauge. On the next pair, I may have to rework the pattern to go up just 1 more stitch per inch for my eyes sake.

They're a really quick knit - I just started it on the 2nd and worked on it in-between house chores.

One down, one more to go, in plenty of time to send off for my best friend's first grandson for Christmas.

Oh, Charlotte, that is just too adorable! That Christmas present gaurentees happy feet and cozy toes. Your friend will be delighted, too, I'm sure.

I love it! That is just too darned cute. I'd want to keep them just to look at! Tell your friend how lucky the GS is to get them. If she doesn't believe it, point her to this thread.

Thanks everybody!

I'm just pleased as punch that I actually got the mattress stitching right on only the 2nd try. Two skills added on this project: mattress stitch and picking out mattress stitch. Cha-Ching!

Adorable! I've always loved those, too. Also love the other patterns! I have the baby Merry Janes, but haven't made them yet. These adult ones are nifty, too.

Good for you! Funny how learning a new skill always seems to involve learning to undo. Still, BOGO!

Seeing small stitches for me involves bright light and taking my glasses off. You need one of those magnifying lights on your wishlist. Maybe you can get one 1/2 off or something. Skinny yarn is fun IMO and I'd hate to have to give it up.

I want the Mary Janes for grownups too. Those would be cool gifts for my daughter and granddaughter.
