Good. I'm glad you aren't having problems from the post stitches. I fully expect you're doing them right. If the pattern looks right, they're right. I never used tc much so when I did it was always an effort to make sure I wrapped the yarn around enough times so I do understand that.

OK I hit another hump that I need to get over. I'm not moving very fast cause I've had to take this part out several times. For some reason I am just not understanding this.

Row 9:
Ch 3, [Bptr around next st, FPtr around
next st] 4 times, 2/2 Back Cross, 2/2 Front
Cross; change to smaller hook, dc in next 4
sts, [working in front loops only, slip st in next
st, ch 7, slip st in next st, ch 5] 6 times, slip
st in next st, working in both loops
, dc in next
4 sts; change back to larger hook, 2/2 Back
Cross, 2/2 Front Cross, [Fptr around next st,
Bptr around next st] 4 times, dc in turning ch-
space, turn.

Is it the front loops only part you're having trouble with?
Crochet In the Front or Back Loops of a Stitch
or sl st?
Learn to Crochet: Making a slip stitch (abbreviated sl st)
Or is it something else?

Its the entire thing. I know how to crochet in front loops only and know how to do the slst. For some reason I'm not understanding the concept.

Which row are you on? It would be helpful to know what comes next.

The chains are joined to the row before with sl st and that leaves a loop that probably will have stitches worked into it on the next row.

I'm on row 9.

I think its the loose chains I'm having an issue with. They just seem to be kinda hanging around with no place to go. Possibly if I can get this row done maybe it will make sense later?

OK that row is done and I'll do the next tomorrow. I'll let you know what happens.
