Help identifying knitting accessory/implement
What is this thing? I got it in a box of a bunch of knitting needles and hooks, it says "Boye" on the plastic slider thing, and the tips are nearly blunt. It is 12" total. Thanks!

It looks like a hairpin lace gadget. What are they called? Looms? Try Googling hairpin lace and see what you find.

Hairpin lace thingy is my first thought, too.

Thanks, Jan. I forgot to mention a hairpin lace gizmo goes with a crochet hook. Doesn't it?

Yes. A hairpin lace loom. (Also called "hairpin crochet" in Great Britain.)

Works better with a crochet hook, definitely.
